AstryX is designed for quiet reflection. We minimize data collection, and we do not sell your personal information.
No account, no login. AstryX does not require creating an account or providing contact information to use the app.
Birth details stay on your device. Your date of birth and place of birth are stored only within your iPhone profile and are not stored in our cloud services.
No precise location collection. AstryX does not collect your device’s real-time location.
Apple Analytics only. We use Apple’s analytics (e.g., App Store Connect / Apple-provided reports) to understand high-level app performance. These insights are typically aggregated and do not give us access to your personal content.
To generate insights. AstryX uses your birth details (Sun sign, a sidereal lunar calculation, and Chinese zodiac) to produce personalized astrological interpretations.
On-demand processing. When you request an interpretation, AstryX may transmit the necessary inputs to third-party processing services (e.g., AIProxy/OpenAI for language generation and an Azure-hosted Swiss Ephemeris service for lunar calculations) to return your result. We do not store these inputs on our servers as part of normal operation.
No advertising profiles. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles or sell it to third parties.
Edit or delete your profile. You can change or remove your profile information at any time within the app. Deleting the app removes locally stored data from your device (subject to iOS backups, if enabled).
Apple privacy controls. You can control diagnostics and analytics sharing through iOS settings.
