Privacy Policy

Axolotl Labs LLC (“Axolotl Labs,” “we,” “us,” “our”) builds focused, AI-native software. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to our website (axolotllabs.ai) and our iOS app, RevMatch.

The website (axolotllabs.ai)

The website is a static, dependency-free landing page hosted on Netlify. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics here today.

Netlify, as our hosting provider, automatically logs standard request information (IP address, user agent, timestamp, URL requested) for the purposes of operating the service, mitigating abuse, and producing aggregate traffic statistics. See Netlify’s privacy policy for details.

If we add lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics (such as Plausible or Fathom) in the future, this policy will be updated and the change noted at the top.

RevMatch (iOS app)

RevMatch helps you find the Porsche trim that matches your driving preferences. The data we touch:

Without an account (guest mode)

• An anonymous device identifier (UUID) generated on first launch, used to attribute your saved trims, ranking history, and Dream renders to your device. This identifier is not linked to your real identity.
• Your preference rankings (“Driver DNA”) and saved trims, stored on our backend so they sync across launches.
• Inputs and outputs of AI features (e.g., text prompts and resulting renders for Dream Garage), routed through AIProxy and OpenAI under contractual data-processing terms.

With Sign in with Apple (optional)

• The opaque Apple user identifier (sub).
• The display name and email Apple shares on first sign-in. Apple may give us a private relay email; if so, we use that.
• Sign in with Apple is never required; the entire app works as a guest.

What we do not collect

• Real location.
• Contacts, photos, or microphone data.
• Health, financial, or browsing data outside the app.
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA).

How we use this data

• To provide the product (save your shortlist, rank trims, run AI requests).
• To improve the product (aggregate, non-identifying analysis of which features get used).
• To respond to support requests.

We do not use your data for advertising and do not sell it to third parties.

Third parties

Each of these processors has its own privacy and security commitments.

Retention and deletion

• Guest data lives as long as your device is using the app. You can clear it by reinstalling the app.
• Account data (if you sign in) is retained until you delete your account from the in-app Profile screen. Deletion cascades through our backend and removes your stored shortlist and rankings.
• AI request logs are retained for operational reasons (debugging, abuse prevention) for up to 30 days, then deleted.

Your rights

You can:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and associated data.
• Limit how we use your data, or withdraw consent for optional processing.

Children

RevMatch is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Significant changes will be noted at the top of this page; older versions are available in the website’s revision history on request.
